Roots!
Suck water from soil
Glistening rich!
In a sudden rush
Of moisture…
Leaves refreshed!

Carbon dioxide escapes…
Swiftly…
Creeps into the stoma…
Underneath the lip-shaped cells…
Its hiding place…
Spreading…
Green shades on the epidermis…


Behold!!!
The birth of carbohydrate…
Glostarch!
The sign of strength,
The symbol of energy,
The secret of activity,
Docile beings…
Function…
Dry bodies…
Dampen…

The living…
Support…
Witness…
Participate…
In this cycle of life,
A beautiful panorama…
Colourful…
Magical…
Magnificent…

We stare…
Mesmerized…
